Hôtel Central, Montargis

This old bourgeoisie residence is located in the heart of Montargis, in a calm district. Completely renovated in 2004, this modern 2-star hotel is listed in the Michelin and Routard guide 2007.

The Hotel Central is built upon what was an ancient monastery dating back to 1800, and has a unique piece of art: a magnificent staircase dated back from 1750. However, despite its age - or perhaps because of it - the hotel is now more alive than ever before. It is just over an hour's drive south of Paris, in the central region of France. It is close to the Loire castles and at one of the crossroads of the main French canals.

There is a lounge area, ideal to relax and grab a bite to eat, plus a library on the terrace. Free internet access is available in all rooms.

The hotel has a perfect location in the centre of Montargis, near the cathedral and right at the corner of the central street rue Dorée. A variety of cafes and restaurants and a good possibility of shopping are on the hotel’s doorstep. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway and the bus stations.

Cancellations

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
